Downtown Santa Cruz, 2020, 18x24”
This painting of several streets that merge towards downtown Santa Cruz, California, was a technical and geometric challenge, especially in the angles of the buildings, the crosswalks and the perspective. I painted the town clock and the triangle building in candy colors, and also included a glimpse of the famous Santa Cruz Boardwalk roller coaster in the background.
